8 Steps for Klenztone 1,2 or 3 chemical cleaning on horizontal or slight inclined surfaces
- ALWAYS patch test a small area to determine correct product and proper dwell time.
Process:
****KEEP KLENZTONE OFF OF GLASS, IT WILL FROST GLASS***
** Klenztone will Damage vegetation, if the plants and Klenztone come in contact **
Step 1: If there is any glass or metal, clean surfaces so the protective film & tape will have good adhesion.
Step 2: Installation of temporary protection of all metal & glass & painted surfaces. This involves using tape & plastic film to cover this area. (Only work on one side of the building at a time.) . Also cover all plants that might be affected. Be careful not to burn plants with protective covering in the sun.
Step 3: Application of Klenztone to all stone surfaces being treated in protected areas.
Step 4: Deactivate & neutralizing of all Klenztone before final rinse.
Step 5: Final rinse. Includes the final rinsing of the building with low pressure (less than 1000 psi) water system or removing of Klenztone with a well saturated clean cloth
Step 6: Removal of all protective surfaces.
Step 7: Cleaning & rinsing of all protective surfaces if needed & glass cleaning.
Step 8: Final rinsing of ground level areas.
In some case it may be required to trap, remove & filter all material during rinsing procedures. This would add additional steps to the procedure described above.
